Mountain Restaurant Punta Trieste

The restaurant follows the opening hours of N. 15 Pralongià chairlift, operating from mid-June till mid-September and from early December till early April (the exact dates of summer and winter opening are available on the official website of Alta Badia  www.altabadia.org ). The Wine Bar is open only during the winter season, from 11 a.m. until the closing time of the mountain lifts. Punta Trieste Mountain Restaurant and the adjacent Wine Bar Ursus Ladinicus are easy to reach both in summer and in winter. During the winter season, Punta Trieste Mountain Hut is located on one of the Sellaronda variants and can be reached in two ways:

1. skiing down from Pralongià II along slope 21B,
2. skiing along slope 8 to the locality Planac (Corvara) and then getting up with Pralongià chairlift, the Mountain Hut is located exactly at the arrival of the chairlift.

During the summer season, the Mountain Hut can be reached by taking Pralongià chairlift that departs from the ample parking area in the locality Planac (Corvara). The chairlift is also valid for the transportation of mountain bikes. Punta Trieste Mountain Hut is well connected by a network of hiking paths with Piz la Ila, Piz Sorega and Pralongià. Trail 24 leads from the Mountain Hut down to Planac (Corvara), where in addition to the parking area you may also find a public bus stop.
